Derived from “salvage” and “creations,” Salvations is a Salvage Design Competition that culminates in an evening exhibition celebrating all things salvage.

HIGHLIGHTING SALVAGE
_

Each year, the Green Project reclaims 2,000,000 pounds of usable materials from the landfill and resells them at an affordable price to the community. Our overarching mission is to demonstrate that these reclaimed goods have value.

Salvations exemplifies this mission in real time by pairing reclaimed materials with beautifully crafted, one-of-a-kind design featured in our annual Salvage Design Competition.

UPLIFTING LOCAL TALENT
_

Over 9 years, Salvations Salvage Design Competition has exhibited the work of over 100 designers from Louisiana and the Gulf South. Promoting the talented individuals that make up our community is a pillar of this event.

At the exhibition, designers’ work is showcased and auctioned in support of both the designers and The Green Project.
