How to Donate

STORE DROP-OFFS

We accept donations of building materials and select home goods at our storefront from 9am-4pm, Monday through Saturday. Please see our list of accepted items below.

DONATION PICKUPS

We offer free pick-up services for large items and items of high quantities across Greater New Orleans. Pick ups take 7-10 days to process from start to finish.

Pick-up Requirements:

  1. Appliances must be disconnected prior to pickup.

  2. All items must be on the ground floor or 1st living level for pickup.  Our crew is instructed to refuse pickup of items from 2nd or higher stories.

  3. Our pickup crew reserves the right to refuse pickup of any items deemed to be in poor condition.

  • Mardi Gras Beads/Throws (ARC Bin)

  • Vents + Insulation

  • Stoves + Ovens

  • New, working Refrigerators or Freezers

  • Wooden Furniture

  • Bricks

  • Roofing

  • Siding

  • Hand Tools

  • Power Tools

  • Garden Supplies

  • Usable latex/water-based paint (More about Paint Donations & Recycling.)

Additional Donation Requirements:

  • Lumber must be at least 4 feet in length.

  • Electrical fixtures and equipment must be in working condition.

  • Items must be in usable condition and complete sets (if applicable).

We CANNOT Accept:

  • Household Cleaners

  • Oil-based paint or stains of any type

  • Pesticides, pool chemicals, other chemicals

  • Any items with asbestos

  • Lightbulbs

  • Batteries

  • Tires

  • A/C Units (some exceptions)

  • Dishwashers (some exceptions)

  • Garbage disposals

  • Glass without a frame

  • Upholstery or upholstered items

  • Cast iron apron bathtubs
