Skill Level: Beginner-Intermediate
Ages: 18+
Location: MakerSpace (located upstairs; no a/c in the main room, but adjacent classroom available to cool down)

In this workshop we will take a deep dive into everything table saw. The table saw is the workhorse of a wood shop and is highly versatile, so knowing the many ways to use it is essential to advance your woodworking skills.

We will go over rip cuts, cross cuts, miter cuts, box joints, taper cuts, and dado cuts. We will also cover maintenance and safety and talk about where to buy a table saw and what kind will suit your needs. This class is not project driven, but you’ll leave with knowledge and skills to tackle different projects by using the appropriate cuts.

This class is perfect for the curious weekend project enthusiast or someone that is serious about getting into woodworking!
