The Green Project’s brand new MakerSpace merges the salvage materials found in our store with the tools and resources needed to MAKE!

Located on the Second Floor of our storefront at 2831 Marais St., the MakerSpace includes a Tool Lending Library, Community Workshop, and Educational Classroom.

Through the MakerSpace, we:

Host community workshops led by Andrew, our Reuse Coordinator, on home repair, creative reuse and woodworking topics.

Hold open MakerSpace hours on most Saturdays, where creators and makers can utilize open workspaces and tools for their personal projects.

Lend hand and power tools to community members utilizing the workshop hours through a Tool Lending Library. In 2019, community members will be able to take tools home through weekly rentals.

The MakerSpace is made possible by Lowe’s and Rebuilding Together.

The MakerSpace is FREE to use! All you need to do is sign up.
