Hey kids! What are you reading this summer? Come join us for the reading of the Lorax!  In the spirit of saving trees, we will be making 3 different kinds of bookmarks out of reclaimed material, one for you and two as gifts, as well as scrap journals so you can keep track of your summer reading adventures!  Finally, participate in the unveiling of our new free lil’ library!! Help us stock it with fun kids’ books, and pick out one or two books to take home with you!

Hey parents! This workshop runs in tandem with our DIY Bookends Workshop for adults! Parents are welcome and encouraged to take the bookends workshop while their kids build their Summer Reading Toolkit! Kids will have the opportunity to help paint bookends at the end of that workshop.

This workshop is FREE and open to kids ages 5+, but will be tailored to ages 5-10. All kids must have a parental supervisor with them at all times, or in attendance at the DIY Bookends Workshop.
