15th anniversary party & membership potluck
Come join the board & staff of The Green Project on June 30th to celebrate 15 years of creative reuse and general awesomeness. The party starts at 5:30pm in The Green Project garden. Bring a small dish to pass. Current members will be able to participate in voting on the slate of new board members who will direct the organization over the next year.

WORN AGAIN Nola3 Fashion Show & Event
Save the date! Saturday July 18th WORN AGAIN nola3 (a benefit for Recycle For The Arts) promises to be the socially conscious event of the season. Forty WORN AGAIN designers will be chosen by our elite jury to rock the WORN AGAIN runway with amazing creativity based on recycled and thrifted cast-offs.

The festivities will begin with an exclusive Patron Party and Silent Auction followed by the wildly entertaining WORN AGAIN fashion show (live music provided by DJ Kristen). The infamous Recycled Dance Competition will follow with original “old skool –vs- new skool” choreography performed by local dance troupes. DyVersatile Crew, a hip hop troupe from Mobile, will kick off our After Party with Stinging Caterpillar Sound System throwing down till the wee hours.

June 27 - All about Windows
Join us and Bill Robinson at 10am on every Saturday in June (except for the 20th) for information and hands-on training on how to repair historic windows.

Erin is always looking for workshop ideas and leaders. If you have a workshop idea in mind, or want to lead a class, please let her know at 504-945-0240 or email info@thegreenproject.org. Workshops must have something to do with recycling or reusing materials in some way.

LESS WASTE, MORE LIFE DISCUSSION GROUP
Tuesday, July 21, 6:30pm - 7:30pm

The Less Waste Discussion & Simple Circle Discussion Group is a time to share and discuss your ideas and concerns regarding waste, landfills, methods to reduce, reuse & recycle, the pros & cons of recycling, when to purge or downsize, and local reuse/recycling resources. Come meet us at Fair Grinds Coffeehouse in Mid-City to vent & discuss.

WHOLE FOODS PAINT & E-WASTE DROP OFF
July 11, August 1, September 5, October 3

Drop off your old paint and electronic waste (computers, stereos, etc) to the Arabella Station Whole Foods Market from 10am to 2pm on the first Saturday of every month. The Green Project's tent will be at the corner of Magazine & Joseph Streets in good weather, and inside near the massage table in bad weather.
