Our lessons get students thinking and talking about the “life cycle” of the goods and products we used on a daily basis. We will discuss the decision we have at the end of a product’s life, and responsible choices we can make as environmental stewards of our planet.
Our lessons are appropriate for grades K-12 and are in alignment with Louisiana’s academic standards.

Summer Camp/After-School Enrichment Club Program
The Green Project visits many day camps in the New Orleans area each summer to present our FREE environmental education programming. Campers learn about the mission of the Green Project and participate in a craft activity using materials that may otherwise be thrown away.
Have an after school enrichment club? We are happy to present to your club members/scouts.
Past upcycled craft activities include: scrap journals, cereal box wallets, milk carton houses, strawberry basket weaving and more!
