your gently used building materials as well as donations of
cash or time. All donations are tax deductible and
used to further our mission of promoting environmentally
sustainable living in New Orleans. ALTERNATIVELY

Don't dump it, donate it!
If you have reusable building or remodeling materials
that you no longer need, you can drop off materials Monday
through Saturday at our warehouse between 9am and 5pm, when
our staff is available to help you. Please be aware that
materials are accepted only at staff discretion and make
sure to call in advance if you have questions about whether
we accept specific items.
The Green Project accepts most used or new building
materials. It is important that donated materials are all
USABLE.
If you have a large quantity of material to donate, The
Green Project may be able to pick up your donation. Please
call Gene Allen, Acquisitions Manager, at (504)578-0188 or
email him at
gallen@thegreenproject.org if you have any questions
regarding material donation or wold like to schedule a pick
up.
Donate Equipment
We are a busy organization and constantly in need of
equipment in good condition that can be used for
deconstruction and materials salvage. Some current needs
are:
- Industrial wood chipper
- 55 gallon metal drums
- Pallet jack
- Box truck
Anyone in the Gulf Coast region or elsewhere that has
equipment that they no longer use or would be willing to
