Household Hazardous Waste Collection Day
May 10 @ 8:00 am – 1:00 pm

The Department of Sanitation offers a Household Hazardous Waste Drop-Off Day annually on the second Saturday in May. The 2014 Household Hazardous Waste Day will be May 10, 2014 at 2829 Elysian Fields Ave from 8am to 1pm.  Items must be separated from regular recycling in categories such as paint, flammables, chemicals, aerosols, batteries, light bulbs, pesticides, propane tanks.

  • Garden Chemicals
  • Muriatic Acid
  • Televisions
  • Paint (latex and oil-based)
  • Paint Thinner and Varnish

  • Household Cleaners
  • Medicines
  • Flammable Liquids
  • Pool Shock
