      Come learn how to make your very own, all-natural, body products in this hands-on workshop led by Sénica. Come with questions on natural home remedies for health and cleaning, and leave with some products of your own!     3. Graze+Grow Workshop: INTRO TO DAIRY FERMENTATION @ The Green Project (UPSTAIRS)
      11:00 am – 1:00 pm

       

      Come learn the basics of dairy fermentation with Andy Onion, experienced home fermenter! In this two-hour, hands-on workshop, participants will learn about the basic process and health benefits of fermentation, as well as steps to make farmer’s cheese and yogurt! Samples will be made in-class and participants are encouraged to bring whole milk and a tupperware container if they’re interested in taking some of the finished product home!

    1. May Green Screen:: Trashed @ The Green Project
      6:30 pm – 9:30 pm

      Come get trashed!

      For this month’s Green Screen, The Green Project will be screening Trashed, a great movie about the trash industry in America.

      ZomBeads, our local Mardi Gras throw crafters, will be joining us for the screening, and there will be plenty of food and drink to go around!

      Doors open at 6:30, movie at 7:00pm. As always, Green Screen is done in collaboration with The Charitable Film Network, and is free and open to the public.

      Jazz Fest is over, you’ve  danced your hearts out– so now — haul yourselves over to the Bywater for a nice snack, a delicious beverage, and a relaxing movie screening that matters to us all.
